Open Positions:
Job Title: CNC Operator, Full time, 1st Shift, 5:30AM – 4PM, M-Th and 2nd shift, 4PM – 2:30AM, M-Th with overtime as needed.
Job Description: Setting Up and Operating CNC Mill/Lathe/Multis Machines
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operations.
- Inspecting and measuring parts using but not limited to micrometers, calipers, drop indicators, gage pins, thread gages and bore gages.
- Selecting, positioning and securing tools or machine parts.
- Positioning and clamping stops, guides and turntables.
- Starting machine and observing machine operation to reposition work piece, per engineering instructions and blue prints.
- Operating machines to manufacture all types of materials such as stainless, Inconel and aluminum.
- Performing other duties as assigned including understanding instructions and communicating with all levels of plant personnel.
- Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Completing production and quality logs.
- Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment.
- Ensuring compliance to Kessington quality standards.
- Working knowledge of machine shop practices.
- Other standard CNC machinist duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in Mill/Turn, Lathe or Multis operation.
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing operations & strategies specific to CNC.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Epicor experience a plus
Job Title: Centerless-CNC Grinder Operator
Reports to: Ops Management
Shift: First and Second
Date to be Filled: Immediately
Positions to be Filled: 2
Job Description: Setting Up and Operating Centerless, CNC Manual Grinders
- Editing CNC controls
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operations.
- Inspecting and measuring parts using but not limited to micrometers, calipers, drop indicators, gage pins, profilometers and bore gages.
- Selecting, positioning and securing tools or machine parts.
- Positioning and clamping stops, guides and turntables.
- Starting machine and observing machine operation to reposition work piece, per engineering instructions and blue prints.
- Adjusting controls to set and regulate machining factors, such as feeds and speeds.
- Operating machines to Grind all types of materials such as stainless, Inconel and aluminum.
- Performing other duties as assigned including understanding instructions and communicating with all levels of plant personnel.
- Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Completing production and quality logs.
- Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment.
- Ensuring compliance to Kessington quality standards.
- Working knowledge of machine shop practices.
- Other standard CNC machinist duties as assigned.
